because i said i'll blog about our HK trip (which i dearly miss), i have been avoiding blogging altogether. haha. LAZINESS as usual.
but in the meantime, i guess much has been happening. NY homecoming, haven seen so many of my sec4 classmates gathered together after leaving nanyang. the weather was humid as always and sitting in the quadrangle eating steamboat was quite unglam after a while haha. the class went town for a movie while i went to OldTown with wanteng bunny jiayi and xiyu after that. the place we went in genting! always wanted to go there since i pass by it every time i take 67.
oh i took up one more tuition kid this p3 girl :) frankly speaking i wouldnt have if i didnt need the money. but she's a such really sweet little girl i look forward to having lessons with her and teaching her about animals and plants haha :D & she's from my p school! a sense of familiarity. i really want to go back to my p school one day :)
met up with corinna a few days ago at PS with bunny, haven seen her since she left for the US halfway through sec4. and she just realised we were in the same class all 4 years in NY. haha. anyway, it was nice seeing her all over again :) then we went to Orchard Central to visit Jiayi who's working as a mobile concierge(sp?) the mall is super big and glassy but few shops have opened yet. shall go again when its more fully opened.
the coming week will be really busy and cramped with stuff, cant wait to get through it in a way. our long break is ending really soon and its amazing how we spent close to 6/7 mths trying to adapt to life without school, and for me, how i spent close to 4 mths not having a fulltime job and only depending on my tuition for income. but during this time there's some sort of a freedom, like you can almost do more than usual, when you're no longer a student but transiting into becoming a true adult. i remember how in p5 my form teacher Mrs Chandra used to call us 'Young Adults', saying we're growing up and should learn to be more independent, and i really thought that i was becoming old. HAHA. i really think she shouldnt have done that cause at that time we were REALLY young. and i think she should have allowed us to feel young a little while longer. we'll be adults for the rest of our life anyway.
